Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information noticeright.ai collects, why, and what happens to it. NoticeRight is operated by NoticeRight LLC, 15 N 3rd Street, Columbia, PA 17512.
This policy covers the website only. NoticeRight is in development and is not yet generally available. When the product launches, the handling of taxpayer information inside the application will be governed by a separate product privacy notice and a written data-processing agreement with each firm. Nothing here should be read as describing how the application will process client data.
1. Do not send client information through this site
This website is a marketing and contact site. It is not a secure channel for taxpayer data, and it is not designed or intended to receive any.
Please do not include client names, Social Security numbers, Employer Identification Numbers, taxpayer addresses, account numbers, notice images, or any other taxpayer information in the request form or in email to us. If you send such information anyway, we will delete it and ask you to resend without it.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the access request form, we collect:
- Your name and the name of your firm
- Your work email address
- Your role and the size of your firm
- Your approximate annual notice volume
- The states or localities you work in, if you tell us
- Whether you are asking about the design-partner pilot or the launch list
- Anything you choose to write in the free-text notes field
- The date and time of the submission
If you email us directly, we receive whatever you put in that message.
Information collected automatically
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on this site, and we do not set any cookies of our own.
Our hosting provider processes standard technical information as part of serving and protecting the site — including IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. This is ordinary server logging and DDoS protection, not behavioural tracking, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
3. How we use it
We use the information you submit to:
- Reply to your request and, where relevant, arrange a conversation
- Assess fit for the design-partner pilot
- Let you know when NoticeRight becomes available
- Understand, in aggregate, which jurisdictions and notice types to prioritise
That is the whole list. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not add you to unrelated mailing lists.
4. What we never do
- We do not sell your information, and we never will.
- We do not share or rent it to advertisers, data brokers, or list vendors.
- We do not use it to train machine-learning models.
- We do not run behavioural advertising or retargeting from this site.
5. Who else touches the data
A small number of service providers process this information on our behalf, only to operate the site and respond to you:
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers this website, and processes the technical logs described above.
- Google (Workspace / Apps Script / Sheets) — receives and stores form submissions.
- Microsoft 365 — our business email, so any correspondence with us lives there.
- Google Fonts — serves the typeface used on this site. Loading it means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers, which necessarily discloses your IP address to Google. No cookie is set by that request.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. How long we keep it
We keep access requests for as long as we are actively evaluating the pilot and, if you asked to hear about launch, until launch plus a reasonable period afterwards. If you ask us to delete your details, we do so promptly and keep only what we must to honour that request — for example, a record that you asked not to be contacted.
7. Your choices
Email privacy@noticeright.ai at any time to:
- Ask what we hold about you
- Have it corrected
- Have it deleted
- Ask us to stop contacting you
We will action requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights; tell us and we will honour them.
8. Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in access-controlled accounts protected by multi-factor authentication.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. This is also why we ask you not to send taxpayer information through this website.
9. Preparers and §7216
If you are a tax return preparer, your own obligations under IRC §7216 and the related regulations govern any disclosure of taxpayer information you make to a service provider. Nothing on this website asks you to make such a disclosure, and you should not make one here.
When NoticeRight becomes available, the consent and disclosure arrangements for the product will be addressed in the product agreement. You should satisfy yourself of your own position with your own professional adviser.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business site aimed at accounting professionals. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects people who have already contacted us, we will tell them directly rather than relying on this page.
